Grandma & Me

As the blossoms start to bloom and the chill of winter begins to fade, there’s a sense of renewal in the air. Launceston is waking up from its winter hibernation, and at our studio, we’re gearing up for one of our most cherished traditions: the annual “Grandma and Me” sessions.

Each year, we dedicate this time to focus on the unique and special relationships that children share with their grandparents. And while the name may highlight grandmothers, we certainly don’t want to leave out grandfathers—they’re just as much a part of these treasured portraits. As grandparents ourselves, Vicki and I have a deeper understanding of the significance these bonds hold. They are relationships built on love, wisdom, and the kind of connection that only time can create.

This year, we’re introducing something new. We’re offering the option to capture these moments in the most meaningful place of all: Grandma’s house. The details in the background—the family photos on the wall, the familiar furniture, the warmth of a home filled with love—will become precious memories in their own right.

There’s something incredibly special about documenting these everyday moments in the place where they happen. Whether it’s baking cakes in the kitchen, tinkering in the garage with Pop, or simply snuggling on the sofa with Grandma and the family dog, these are the memories that define childhood. They’re the moments that tell the story of a family, and they’re the ones we want to help you capture.

These sessions are at no cost to you (they're normally $150.00).

Your photography session must take place before December 1st
