When Georgia & Danny Veis stopped in for coffee at Lenah Valley’s Augusta Café, they quickly realised they had found the perfect location for the café they’d been planning – and it wasn’t long before they opened the doors to Whisk & Co, which has quickly become one of Hobart’s best and busiest suburban eateries.

When Whisk & Co became a reality, Drew van der Woude, a former collegue of Danny was the obvious choice to lead the kitchen team, with the tremendous bonus of bringing along his life partner and Chef/Pastry Chef Ashleigh Bonney. 



Muffins, cakes, cookies and desserts are baked fresh every day by Ashleigh and her team in the pastry kitchen. Their baristas serve the best coffee using only locally roasted and blended beans. The Son of a Gun is the house blend and you’ll also find a single origin variety to try.



With breakfast served from 7am till 3pm everyday, you can enjoy their famous 3 Little Pots or Eggs Benedict any time you like. They also cater to Paleo diners, and vegetarian and gluten-free options are always available. 



Whisk & Co is open for dinner on the last Friday and Saturday of each month, with a fresh menu to choose from and live music to add to the atmosphere.



The friendly buzz and exceptional seasonal meals entice locals and passers-by alike, sometimes for hours at a time. Pop in for a takeaway coffee, for breakfast or linger over lunch, the Whisk & Co team will always make you welcome and be happy to look after you.
