White Sands Estate

White Sands Estate is situated on Tasmania’s beautiful East Coast; half way between Bicheno and St Helens. The 220 hectare property boasts 27 standalone self-contained units, all which have stunning views of the ocean from their decks.

There are plenty of complimentary activities to keep children and adults occupied including a canoe lake, putting green, heated swimming pool, basketball court, tennis courts, 50 seat private cinema and exclusive beach access and boat ramp.

The property offers great diversity and stunning scenery for functions and events. Their customised venues can cater for corporate gatherings, intimate and large weddings and degustation dinners; just to name a few.

In 2016 the Estate acquired the culinary expertise of John T. Bailey. After travelling and working around the world for almost four decades, John recognised the huge potential this unique venue in its pristine location and ready access to first class Tasmanian produce had to offer. John has been instrumental in establishing a seasonal menu, which showcases some of the best culinary experiences Tasmania’s East Coast can offer.

White Sands is also home to the IronHouse Brewery, named after the first house with an iron clad roof on the East Coast. The brewery offers handcrafted brews, made to traditional recipes from quality ingredients and pure Tasmanian spring water.

The Estate boasts 60 hectares of vines which are located on rolling hills surrounding the property. Their grapes produce a fabulous sparkling white, chardonnay, sauvignon blanc and pinot noir; all of which can be tried at their cellar door open daily for tastings.

White Sands Estate’s location offers visitors and guests wanting to experience Tasmania’s East Coast a great base from which to explore. Popular tourist attractions such as the Bay of Fires and the Freycinet Peninsula are within easy commuting distance from the Estate.

White Sands Estate is a hidden gem; but for how long?
