Fudge‘n’Good Coffee

Gallery Tasmania which incorporates the “Fudge’n’Good Coffee” café opened mid 2012 in the famous mural art town of Sheffield.  Owners Chris and Rini Puccetti discovered Tasmania in 2008 and decided to move their family from Tuscany. Their dream to open a magnificent, Victorian era gallery and cafe was realised in the historic bakery building which proudly faces the Sheffield Hotel on Main Street.

“We love our customers to get a taste of the good old days when quality and great service were all important. It’s a little bit of Disneyland right here in Sheffield!”

A former international fashion photographer, Chris exhibits and sells his own images along with the work of other talented Tassie artists in the gallery with new shows each month. Chris and Rini believe the town mural concept has made the region world renown and recently commissioned a local artist to paint a beautiful mural on the outside of their 120 year old building.

Above all, it’s the coffee that sets this business apart from other galleries. Having lived and trained in Italy, Rini and Chris are master baristas and pride themselves on making a good cup from quality Italian blends. Rini has concentrated on her specialities of fresh Tasmanian fudge and American style tollhouse cookies. They bake on site daily using local produce.

Local fudge specialties include, Tasmanian Bush Pepper, Lavender Romance and Raspberry Cheesecake. Rini and her team of fudge makers now craft over three hundred unique flavours of fudge throughout the year with the key ingredient being rich, locally produced butter from what could be the happiest dairy cows on the planet.

In stark contrast to the old world charm of the fudge parlour, Rini’s fudge has a very modern day presence on the internet. Their website, fudgengoodcoffee.com enables this unique Tasmanian fudge to be enjoyed on every continent and is delivered worldwide in unique boxes branded, “Lovingly made in Tasmania”.
