Nigel’s Gourmet On Tamar is a family owned and operated business located in Exeter on the West Tamar Highway. Nigel purchased the butcher shop in 2005 after 10 years of working at the premises. A competition was held in 2007 to choose a new name and ‘Nigel’s Gourmet on Tamar’ was born.

Tradition is of key importance at Nigel’s Gourmet on Tamar so they practice the old-fashioned principles of buying local produce, free range and hormone free. They pride themselves in offering top quality produce along with ready-to-eat meals to make life simpler.

Utilising an on-site smoke oven, Nigel makes his own smoked Spanish chorizo, ham, bacon and cabana, as well as hot and cold smoked salmon. A range of smallgoods are also hand made on site, such as black pudding and pork kassler.

Producing more than 20 varieties of sausage each week, the team at Nigel’s looks forward to tantalising your tastebuds with their extensive premium range.

Nigel’s Gourmet on Tamar has been the recipient of Australian Meat Council Industry Award awards for his many products.
