harvest farmers’ market

Harvest Launceston Community Farmers’ Market brightens a quiet inner city car park every Saturday morning when up to 50 seasonal producers bring their produce to Launceston from all corners of Tasmania.

Here, you can find a wonderful variety of Tasmanian produce including fruit, vegetables, meat, dairy, seasonal preserves, artisan bread, oils, beer, wine and cider.

Harvest Launceston is an authentic weekly farmers’ market bringing the world’s best produce from the producer to the people. The market adheres to a strict charter and the Australian Farmers’ Market Association guidelines.

As a not-for-profit organisation, Harvest is a true community market where locals are involved in running and setting up the market every weekend.

Launched in February 2012, Harvest Launceston is a vibrant social and shopping event, attracting people to the centre of town to meet and talk to those who grow, catch, bake, make, brew or produce their food.

Seasonal produce is celebrated every weekend and there’s plenty to feast on site from gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches and vegan laksa to Turkish gozleme and locally roasted coffee.

Harvest Launceston Community Farmers’ Market is held every Saturday from 8.30am – 12.30pm in the Cimitiere Street car park (opposite Albert Hall).
