Hill Farm Preserves

Hill Farm Preserves makes premium condiments and preserves that are all natural – without added colours, artificial flavours or preservatives.

Located at Sisters Creek on the North West coast of Tasmania, the Hill Farm Kitchen sits in the middle of the farm that grows the GM-free canola and Tasmania’s only yellow mustard seed crop that features heavily in the product range.

The canola seeds are cold pressed to make a flavoursome, golden culinary oil, which has been awarded Silver in the Sydney Royal Fine Food Show in 2018 and was a state winner in the delicious. Produce Awards for 2017 and 2018. An extensive range of paste and seeded mustards showcase many Tasmanian ingredients, including beer, honey, horseradish, native pepperberry, wasabi and whisky.

Small batch production of Hill Farm products include apple cider vinegar (original and infused), fruit paste, infused canola oils, jam, jelly, marmalade and relish, with Tasmanian fruit central to the jam and jelly products.

Karin Luttmer is the third owner of the Hill Farm brand which has been in the market for more than two decades. Local and international chefs, as well as home cooks, relish the “pop in your mouth” texture of the seeded mustards and the clean pure taste of their other products. New export markets have opened up in Sri Lanka, Hong Kong and Singapore under Karin’s ownership and with growing awareness of Tasmania and the high quality and flavour attributes of Hill Farm products, future market expansion is on the cards.
