Delish Fine Foods, a very fine delicatessen and café on the outskirts of Burnie overlooking Bass Strait, opened in February 2007 by Kurt and Ann Wyss.

Kurt is a master cheese maker from Switzerland, so naturally the cheese range is selected by an expert. The 60+ cheese selection includes a wide variety of Tasmanian cheeses. Imported cheeses including Swiss Gruyere, Italian Gorganzola, French Roqufort and St. Angel, Danish Blue and Dutch spiced Gouda.

Some other quality products include free range Wessex ham, beautifully crafted local bacon, terrines, pates and other smallgoods. Gourmet chutneys and relishes, Tasmanian ciders, beers, wines and many more products from local producers.

Delish also stocks an extensive range of olives and condiments, smoked salmon, mussels and octopus.

Their chefs prepare daily salads, lasagnas, frittatas, quiches and cakes to take home for an easy meal. Delish provides specialised catering to the local region. Delish also serve delicious café style breakfast, lunch and snacks. All items on the menu are made in house by their talented kitchen staff and carefully selected by Head Chef April Ward. They pride themselves on using only the best fresh local produce and fine italian coffee. They also stock gourmet gift items, personalised gift baskets, gift vouchers, useful kitchen items, beverages and food books.
